I’m free to love,
so love is free to rule over me.
I didn’t think of this or that;
I simply surrendered myself to Love,
for I knew: It is formless (Nirguna),
all-pervading, and it moves the entire creation.
It knows far more than I ever could.
Dropping my own defenses
was like taking away an umbrella,
and love began to shower its gentle rain.
I didn’t decorate words for my beloved;
Love itself began to speak to him through me.
We didn’t go to any beautiful ceremony,
Love turned these four walls into a sacred mosque.
Only after a moment did my eyes realize
that they have now become two pairs,
Through my beloved’s voice,
Love called out to me loudly
from deep within my own spirit.
The heartbeats began to realize
that they were now aligning with a rhythm
from somewhere else.
My breath grew a little deeper,
a little longer,
as if I know that another life has entered inside me.
When I let go of my control,
Love took care of everything.
The world I had built on my own
was driven by clever tactics and fear,
yet I kept losing.
But the creation birthed by Love—
woven out of silence and pure Awareness—
made life blossoms,
I became a witness (Sakshi) to that ultimate vision:
where Consciousness remained still,
while all of existence began to dance around it.
The soul began to dance,
to sing, and to call upon the Beloved—
Where even communication happens
through existence itself, under the sky of Love.
