Writers from every corner of the world share their poems, stories and essays on The Poetic Land. Becoming a Verified Writer gives you a home of your own here: a blue tick ✔ beside your name, a personal dashboard, and a much faster way to send us your work. This guide walks you through every step.

Why become a Verified Writer?

• The blue tick ✔. It appears beside your name on your posts, in listings and search results, and on your comments, so readers know it is really you.
• Your own dashboard. Everything you have published with us, in one place.
• Track every submission. See whether each piece is pending, being reviewed or published.
• No more long forms. Your verified profile fills itself in, so submitting a new piece takes a minute.
• A permanent Author ID (for example TPL-8077) that is yours for good.

What you need before you apply

To keep the Verified Writer community genuine and active, every application needs:

• 5 writings with The Poetic Land. Pieces you have already submitted to us count automatically (we find them by your email). If you have fewer than 5, you can add the rest directly in the application: a title plus the pasted text or an uploaded file.
• Follow us on Instagram (@tploriginall) and share your Instagram username.
• Join our WhatsApp channel or community (open the channel).
• Leave a review of The Poetic Land in the “Whispers of the Readers” section at the bottom of our homepage, and tell us the name or email you used.
• Following us on Facebook is optional, but always welcome.

How to apply

1. Open the Verified Writer application.
2. Fill in your details. As soon as you type your email, the form shows how many earlier submissions we found and how many writings you still need to add.
3. Tap each button to follow us on Instagram, join our WhatsApp channel and write your review, then tick the boxes.
4. Add your remaining writings, write a few words about yourself, and press submit.
5. Our editorial team reviews your application. Once you are approved, we email you your Author ID and set up your writer login.

How to log in

• Go to the login page.
• Enter your Author ID (like TPL-8077) or your email, plus your password.
• Forgot your password? Tap “Forgot password?” on the login page and we will email you a link to set a new one.

How to write and submit

Once you are logged in, tap the quill icon in the header, or go to My Account → Submit New. Your verified details are already filled in, so you only add your title, your writing and an optional image, then send it to our editors.

Track your writing

• My Writings lists everything you have published with us, each with its blue tick.
• My Requests shows every request you have sent us and where it stands.

Changing your profile

To protect your verified identity, your profile details can only be changed by our team. Need to update your name, photo or bio? Send a change request from My Account and we will update it for you once it is checked.
