A Small Cherub Fell Out Of The Sky

oh you little bird
you've lost your way
and worse
you forgot who you are
where you came from
the ability to take to the sky
fly over mountains
move from city to city
oh you little bird
you forgot to flap your wings
when you fell off your nest
you hit your head
and forgot
you were not made for the ground
not made to touch cement
but to perch high above us
to look down at us
the fools
the unlucky
you are better than us
that is why you were born with wings
now go on little bird
take flight
you don't belong here
not with the damned.
