Thousands march when a woman is raped, raise their fists, demand justice, scream her name, then go home, open the same sites they condemn, and post their protest story like it makes them gentlemen. Don’t call yourself a gentleman for standing in a crowd. A camera doesn’t make your intentions clean. If you respect her beneath the daylight, but reduce her to a body when you’re alone, your protest is a performance, not respect. So change your mind before you change your story. Stop wearing feminism like a badge for applause. A gentleman doesn’t prove himself with a post, he respects women when nobody is watching.

The Protest Ends at Home
By SRINJAY PORIA
Thousands march when a woman is raped,
raise their fists, demand justice, scream her name,
then go home, open the same sites they condemn,
and post their protest story like it makes them gentlemen.
Don’t call yourself a gentleman for standing in a crowd.
A camera doesn’t make your intentions clean.
If you respect her beneath the daylight,
but reduce her to a body when you’re alone,
your protest is a performance, not respect.
So change your mind before you change your story.
Stop wearing feminism like a badge for applause.
A gentleman doesn’t prove himself with a post,
he respects women when nobody is watching.
