The curse of being beautiful

By Marie Claire Langlais

Every room I walk into
Aquires me more new enemies to ignore…
Every new level is a new devil
As if I could possibly need anymore…
Your so beautiful you get whatever you want
It’s so very sickening…
You get all the unfair advantages
Because of your disgusting pretty privilege…
Being beautiful is nice except when everyone
Wants to put you in your place…
It’s not such a nice feeling to be loved
And hated at the same time for having a pretty face…
Your either hunted or humiliated or
Manipulated as a sport…
You have no right to have feelings
How dare you even think you deserve to feel hurt…
You spoiled ungrateful witch
One day you’ll finally be old and no longer dutiful…
But until then shut up, be thankful
And enjoy the curse of being beautiful…
