Editor’s Note
Life is so paradoxical. Though we always try to design it with good people, peace, and happiness, and keep distancing ourselves from pain, somehow we fall into the matrix of pain. It can be love failure, business loss, death, separation, and sometimes even love itself.
As one of our poets says, “Some separation is actually protection.”
So, after the destruction of the soul, our hearts need direction. Therefore, we have decided to create Peace After Pain—a direction for all the broken souls who deserve peace after pain.
This anthology is a collection of voices from darkness to light, love to separation and healing, and the courage to keep moving forward. Through these poems, we hope readers will find peace in these pages.
May these pages remind you that pain is not the end of the story. Sometimes, it is the beginning of peace.
